2yos off to an early start
The new season has barley started and
Luskin Park has already had two runners in early 2yo black
type races. Both Mimidae (trained by John O’Shea) and Pegasus
Queen (trained by Bart Cummings) qualified for the Gimcrack
Stakes. Pegasus Queen’s run certainly caught the eye of a few
experts. She stormed home to record the fastest final furlong
of the race. Both fillies are now spelling until the autumn.
